My name is Ms. Emily Mullins, and I am so happy to have your child in my class this year. This is my second year to teach at College Hills. Your child may remember me as "Coach Mullins" since I was the assistant PE teacher last year!
This year, I will be teaching Math and Science. Across the hall, Mrs. Emily Pitts is teaching Reading Language Arts and Social Studies. I know I will learn so many great things about each one of your children, so here is a little bit about me!
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas. When I was five, my family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I attended 1st through 6th grade. I was always the smallest kid in my class as well as the youngest since I skipped kindergarten. Education has always been of utmost importance in my household growing up, and I still believe it to be true for myself and others. In 7th grade, my family moved back to Fort Worth, Texas where I finished up middle and high school. I moved to College Station, Texas where I received my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2015 (whoop!).
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my fur-baby, Lacey, a 4-year-old cockapoo whose favorite things include taking walks, going for car rides and cuddling! I enjoy anything craft-related, journaling, reading, doing yoga, and organizing just about anything. My favorite foods include anything high in starches (I've never met a potato I didn't like) and chocolate. ***Note: Despite these favorites, I still maintain a healthy diet as well as encourage one!
Thank you for reading a little bit about me! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your child's education. I look forward to our journey together in helping your child reach for the stars!
